Joshua M. Hood focuses his practice in probate and trust litigation, civil litigation, estate planning and probate and trust administration. Josh represents heirs, beneficiaries, trustees and personal representatives in a wide array of contested matters, including testamentary and contractual capacity, undue influence, fraud, duress and breach of fiduciary duties.
After graduating from Southern Oregon University cum laude with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology in 2007, Josh attended law school at Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana. While in law school, Josh participated in externships for the Federal Public Defenders Office in Medford, Oregon, as well as the Lake County Prosecutors Office in Crown Point, Indiana. After graduating law school, Josh began his career as a Trust Officer with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Prior to returning to Oregon to join Hurley Re, Josh was an attorney at Solomon, Dwiggins, Freer & Steadman, Ltd., in Las Vegas, NV.
Joshua is licensed in Nevada, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, Texas, and Oregon.
